Wonwoo ENG Co., Ltd. (Representative: Byeong-Il Seo) had participated at ‘2021 International Light Convergence EXPO’ held at the 1st exhibition hall of Ilsan KINTEX for 3 days from Oct. 13th(Wed.) to 15th (Fri.).

Wonwoo ENG Co., Ltd. specializes in image solution and possess various kinds of camera products from simple indoor dome camera to explosion-proof camera operating in extreme environment, based on real-time image signal processing technology, a core technology of image system area. Since its establishment in 1996, Wonwoo ENG has specialized in producing CCTV image surveillance equipment based on technology of its own research institute accumulated over the years.

Wonwoo ENG has upgraded its products through continuous research and development based on product lineup introducing state-of-the-art image surveillance technology such as explosion-proof camera, vista glass (digital telescope), rotating camera and zoom modules.

The 2021 2nd generation rotation explosion proof camera introduced at this exhibition has been highly recognized for its technical abilities with acquisition of Korean KCs explosion proof certification, overseas IECEx, ATEX explosion certification. In particular, explosion-proof camera is mainly installed in chemical complexes, power plants, explosion handling places and ships with risk of explosion. This 2nd generation product can perform remote image monitoring so that we can get help immediately if an accident occurs.

The inconvenience of existing telescope was solved by allowing the viewer to press Zoom in/out button, to adjust the zoom factor and to capture the target while looking at the screen. At present, it has been installed as a pilot project at many places such as Seoul Namsan N Tower, Lotte Tower, Shihwa Moon Observatory, Goseong – Cheolwon Unification Observatory and Baekdudaegan Natinoal Arboretum.

In addition, rotation camera is designed for crime prevention which can be used day and night, and developed to effectively monitor in the section with long screens such as roads, railroads, bridges and rivers in addition to crime prevention function. The horizontal/vertical rotation function of zoom module was applied for the first time.

With regard to zoom module, Wonwoo ENG had researched materials usually developed and supplied by Korean big companies or Japan for 10 years and has recently succeeded in developing 40 times and 55 times optical products based on our own auto-focusing technology, and exported them to CCTV leading companies in overseas market.

‘International Light Convergence Expo 2021’ organized by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, LED Industry Forum, and KOTRA and managed by the Korea Commission for Corporate Partnership, will be conducted by integrating the 19th International LED&OLED EXPO and PHOTONICS+
