PI Korea (CEO, Markus Michael Spanner) participated in 'International LED & OLED EXPO 2018' held from Jun. 26th(Tue) to 28th(Thur) at 3th and 4th hall of KINTEX in Iisan, and showed a product equipped with precision positioning technology.

PI Korea is a company specialized in precision positioning, with its headquarter in German. PI Korea usually distributes and sells the produced products. The products are usually produced in German and the USA. They provide a wide range of customer solutions such as DC&Stepper motor hexapod air-bearing and etc. which are piezo products. They also do service activities such as providing A/S, providing equipment to schools and research institutions, participating in exhibitions and assisting customers technically.
The main product of the company is the planner scanner using Airbearing XY stage technology. The planner can move in the air using air pressure and smoothly be operated without friction. Its speed is 2m/c at maximum. In addition, this product equipped with the precision positioning technology tracks the position of a target accurately.
'PILine XY stage', equipment presented by PI Korea at this exhibition for the first time, is a microscope possible to observe things minutely. It sets its focus on a cell even in a Nano unit by moving the lens in the piezo method. It is also possible to control it manually with a joystick.

Hyeong Seonggyeong, an employee of marketing department, PI Korea said, "PI Korea differentiates itself from other companies for a highly accurate control technology and a wide range of product families," and "our products can be used to all industries which need accuracy such as a semiconductor laser astronomy nanotechnology and etc.

She continued and mentioned their plan, "we will focus on promoting the new product, PIRest afterwards." The 'PIRest' features that it fixes complex equipment not to move in its position without voltage and helps to maintain equipment with less voltage even when it is hard for people to touch.
The 'International LED &OLED EXPO 2018' hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the Korea association for photonics industry development(KAPID), the LED Industry Forum(LEDIF), the Korea Trade Investment Promotion Agency(KOTRA) and organized by EXPOnU Co., Ltd., is the biggest LED, OLED-specialized trade exhibition that over 350 Korean and overseas companies participates.
