Techen introduced its patented technology and new products of 2016 at the 14th International LED & OLED Expo(LED & OLED Expo 2016), which began Jun. 22 at KINTEX.

Techen was established in 2009, and has 12 patents including cooling technology for power LED lights by inserting metal heat conducting pins. Now a global company in the industry, it has been selected as a high-growth export strengthening company in 2015.

Its core technology with the metal heat conducting pins uses silver Nano cooling chip implant to conduct heat. According to the test conducted by Korea Institute of Ceramic Engineering & Technology, it showed a higher heat resistance compared to other MCPCB.

The GFRP street light body development project was funded by the SMBA in the amount of one billion KRW, and has even finished acquiring a patent. It is strong against corrosion, and protected from lightning with strong coating. Strong and durable, it is suitable for industrial use.

The newly released product of 2016 is almost anti-corrosive, so it is even stronger against sea water and birds` feces. There is also the eco-friendly light with back mirror for protecting the agriculture and security lights with security cameras.

Techen has received many awards including Korea Technology Award, Korea Engineer Award, and IR52 Award from MSIP. It has also received Electric Culture Award, Beautiful Taxpayer Award, and Education Donation Award.

The 14th International LED & OLED Expo is the largest LED trade show in Korea, displaying LED/OLED lights, equipment, parts, application, display, digital signage, UV, smart buildings from 300 companies from 15 countries in 600 booths.
