[LED EXPO 2015] EP Korea Showcases Highly Efficient LG LED Lighting Solution

EP Korea (CEO Bae Mun-chan, www.epkorea.com) showcased its highly efficient and eco-friendly LG LED Lighting Solution at the 13th International LED & OLED EXPO 2015 (LED EXPO 2015 for short), which lasts for four days from Tuesday the 23rd to Friday the 26th at KINTEX in Ilsan.
The displayed LED ceiling and high-ceiling flat lights are used in locations such as offices, banks, and hospitals. The highly efficient light can replace existing fluorescent lights and luminaires.
They can be installed in various environments, and energy consumption can be slashed by up to 63% compared to existing products. They possess low maintenance and lifespans of more than 10 years, if they are used 12 hours a day. Moreover, the dimming control saves even more energy costs.
In particular, the LG PLS is being used in tennis courts, soccer fields, and baseball parks. The product is a new conceptual lighting system in which a plasma luminescence mechanism is applied.
It is suitable for sports facilities, as the high-intensity light can reach farther out. Furthermore, the PLS has no flickering, and it lights up faraway areas naturally without color distortion, putting less strain on users` eyes.
The company also introduced various other products, including LED downlights for lobbies and halls, LED high-ceiling and explosion proof lighting for factories and warehouses, LED ceiling lights, and flat lighting.
The 13th International LED & OLED EXPO is the largest exhibition that integrates lighting, equipment, components, and materials of LED and OLED. Two hundred forty companies from 13 different countries are running 550 booths.
Furthermore, it is expected to provide an opportunity for company officials and buyers to communicate with each other, and encourage the development of the domestic LED industry. A variety of events are on tap, including the 5th LED Industrial Forum, Export Counseling for invited foreign buyers, and High Technology Development Companies Government Award Ceremony.
