XL Video was proud to support Teenage Cancer Trust’s annual run of live shows at London’s Royal Albert Hall for the third consecutive year. For this 15th anniversary XL Video supplied LED video displays, live cameras and HD recordings for the seven shows in late March 2015.
The week-long run included a comedy night hosted by Kevin Bridges, plus live music shows headlined by Stereophonics, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Paul Weller, The Who, Van Morrison, and Frank Turner and the Sleeping Souls.
All the shows featured a central flown LED video display, 36.6 square metres in total, formed from XL Video’s Barco NX6 6mm LED. This screen displayed a mixture of the artists’ own playback content and logos, live IMAG footage and pre-recorded films about the Trust’s work. Playback content was served from one of XL’s Catalyst media servers.
In addition a wide LED banner screen formed from XL’s ROE Visual MC-18T 18mm LED stretched the width of the stage. This displayed fundraising information and social media links to encourage the audience to get involved in spreading the word about Teenage Cancer Trust’s work.
